What do I need to rent a car in Seychelles?

A valid drivers license (held for at least 2 years).

How will i find Zephyr Car Rental upon arrival?

To find Zephyr Car Rental at the airport, our representative will be waiting at the arrival area holding a sign with your name; if you can’t locate us, please proceed to the airport help desk, and customer service will contact us directly.

Can I rent a car with a foreign driver’s license?

Yes. However, if in a language other than English or French, it is advisable to have an international drivers permit. The name and validity period must be readable.

Are there any mileage limits?

No there is no mileage limit.

Can I add a second driver?

It is possible to add up to two additional drivers, but a valid drivers license for each additional driver must be provided.

What is the fuel policy?

Our cars are rented with a full tank of fuel, and must be returned the same, otherwise you may be charged a re-fuelling fee.

Can I pick up and drop off the car at different locations?

Yes. However, we offer free pick up and drop offs in Victoria, Beau Vallon, Bel ombre and Glacis region. Dependent on the area for pick up and drop off there may be a small fee.

What happens if I am late to return the car?

It is advisable that if the client believes there may be delays in returning the car that we are notified. You may be charged a late fee where the time runs into another booking.

Can I smoke in the car?

No, smoking is prohibited.

Do I have to clean the car before returning?

There is no requirement for the car to be cleaned, however, clients are advised to try and keep as much send out of the car as possible. Excessively dirty cars may be subject to a cleaning fee.
