General Terms
- Renters must be 18 years and over with a valid drivers licence held for a minimum of two years.
- Rental prices are based on the specific period with discounts applicable subject to availability. Charges are based on car category, rental period and optional extras.
- No security deposit is taken, however, any damages or additional charges must be settled prior departure.
- Payment is to be made at the point of pick up. We accept credit and debit cards. If payment is made in a foreign currency, any change which may be applicable may be returned in SCR (Seychelles Rupees).
- The rental period starts when you pick up the vehicle and ends when it is returned. Vehicle rentals operate on a 24 hour period. E.g. if pick up is 7 am in the morning, the return will be 7 am the next day. Late returns may be subject to charges.
Insurance
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance coverage is not included in the rental rate. You may select a CDW EURO 10 which covers an excess of EURO 1500.
- In the absence of a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) selected, the client remains liable for all damages to the maximum value of EURO 4000.
- Damages sustained to the bottom of the vehicle, loss or damage to car keys, car seats, booster seats and missing umbrellas are not included in the insurance coverage.
- Credit card must be provided to ensure insurance excess.
Fuel Policy
Full to full: The car is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in a refuelling charge.
Vehicle Use and Restrictions:
- Only authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the vehicle. Additional drivers may be added with notice and the provision of valid drivers licence.
- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, carrying hazardous materials, or towing (unless specifically allowed by the rental agency).
- No smoking is allowed in the vehicle and may be subject to a penalty fee.
Vehicle condition
- The car will be subject to inspection by the renter and the rental company at both pick up and drop off. Any pre-existing damages will be noted on the rental agreement.
- Where, on pick up additional damage is found, same will be subject to a subsequent fee.
- The renter is responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle during the rental period, including scratches, dents, tire damages and windshield or mirror cracks.
- Renters should notify the rental company immediately if the vehicle experienced mechanical issues. Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the car are not allowed.
Additional Charges
- Drop off and pick ups are free in the North of Mahe, Victoria, the Seychelles Airport and the Jetty. Other areas are subject to a fee ranging from SCR200 (EUR 15) – SCR400 (EUR 30).
- Late drop off/ extensions is subject to additional charges:
- 1 hour SCR200/EUR15
- 2 hours SCR400/EUR30
- 3 hours SCR600/EUR45
- 3+ hours is charged as a full day
- If the car is excessively dirty, the renter may be charged a cleaning fee.
- The renter is responsible for paying any tolls, parking tickets or fined incurred during the rental period.
Cancellation and Modifications
- Free cancellation available up to 48 hours prior to pickup. Late cancellations and no shows may be charged a penalty fee of up to half of the daily rental fee.
- If changes to the rental period, pick-up location, or vehicle type are needed, the company may charge a fee, and rates may differ from the original booking. Modifications are not guaranteed and subject to availability.
Return Conditions
- The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location and at the agreed time. Returning the vehicle to a different location or after hours may incur additional charges.
- The car should be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, with all accessories, tools, and documents.
Breakdown or Accident
- In the event of a breakdown, the renter should contact the rental company’s emergency number for assistance. Do not attempt unauthorized repairs unless instructed.
- In case of an accident, the renter should report it to the local authorities and the rental company. Failure to do so may result in liability for all damages.
Privacy and Data Protection
The rental company will collect personal information for booking purposes. This information is generally protected under data privacy regulations and will not be shared with third parties without the renter’s consent, unless required by law.
